McGill Law Practice was founded in 2011 by senior trial advocacy lawyer John McGill, III, to bring professionalism to the New Jersey Bar. Attorney McGill gained unique attributes from his extensive 20 plus year public service with the New Jersey Supreme Court's Office of Attorney Ethics.

Extensive Public Service Training
Attorney McGill’s training was gained through extensive public service:
- As a Judicial Law Clerk
- As an Assistant Essex County Prosecutor
- Over 20 years as an Ethics Counsel with the Office of Attorney Ethics (OAE)
In his role at the OAE, he served as an effective manager and also as Statewide Fee Arbitration Coordinator. He also offers extensive appellate argument attorney services.
